April is Autism Awareness month. Or Autism Acceptance month. It all depends on who you ask. The truth is, awareness and acceptance are such a small "piece of the puzzle"-- pun fully intended. Most people are aware of Autism. Many are accepting of the fact that Autistice exist. What is grossly lacking is advocacy.

Advocating for an autistic child is an all-consuming job that cannot possibly be contained to one month. It is constant, it is exhausting, and it is necessary.
